Taawon US is committed to rebuilding higher education in Gaza—because even in the face of destruction, the pursuit of knowledge must never be lost.
By restoring universities, supporting faculty, and equipping students with the tools they need to learn and lead, we’re helping build a future where Gaza’s youth can rise, rebuild, and reclaim their right to education, dignity, and opportunity.
ISNAD is our response to Gaza’s urgent education crisis.
ISNAD—Arabic for “support”—is a lifeline for Gaza’s shattered education system. Years of relentless attacks have upended the dreams of more than 88,000 students, yet ISNAD aims to restore hope by awarding 30,000 scholarships to 15,000 learners and university staff.
Through distance-learning partnerships with Al-Azhar University, the Islamic University and Al-Aqsa University—together educating 72% of Gaza’s undergraduates—the program seeks to raise $16 million. That funding will cover two semesters of tuition, ensuring academic continuity, empowering students to rebuild their futures, and strengthening the resilience of Gaza’s higher-education institutions.
